Become an AU Affiliate and make money for your business
How the AU Affiliate Program works
When you become an AU Affiliate, you can earn a 20% commission off everything on the Animal University site. This includes student and WAPA memberships, all live events, all webinars, recorded classes and ebooks. All you need to do is place the AU Affiliate link or banner on your website, add it to your email newsletter, and promote it directly to your clients and customers. When one of your clients or customers clicks through to the AU site using your link, you receive a 20% commission on anything they buy on the AU site. It’s that simple!
Here’s how you sign up:
1. If you haven’t already, sign up as an affiliate at e-junkie.com. E-junkie.com is the website we use to manage our affiliate program. There is no cost to you to join.
2. Click on this link: Join our Affiliate Program!
3. Sign in to your e-junkie account and click on the Affiliates tab at the top of the page.
4. Then, click on the “affiliate admin” link in the navigation menu.
5. Click the link “Get Affiliate Code.”
6. Select Animal University from the drop down menu and then click on “Get Affiliate Code.”
Adding the common affiliate hop link to your website will send your people to the front page of Animal University, where they can get more information on AU Memberships, courses, and events. The html code we provide can also be used in your email newsletter and blog posts.

Payment information
We process payments through PayPal on the 15th of each month and will deposit your commission in your PayPal account. Don’t have a PayPal account? Sign up here.
At the end of the year, I fill out a 1099 form for all Affiliates who earn more than $600 in a year.
How to sell Animal University memberships and products
Now for the fun part!
We ask that you keep your promotions personal, relevant to your business, and non-spammy. We will provide descriptions of classes and events as they are scheduled with plenty of time for you to promote them to your list and website visitors.
A word of caution: don’t expect to get lots of sales just by putting AU’s link on your website. Referral promotions work best with a personal appeal – a blog post that talks about why you like a product you’re recommending, a personal email that relates to your audience. Other ways to promote AU could include:
- Reviews of AU classes on your website and blog
- Tweets on Twitter
- Postings on your Facebook profile and business page
- Posting information on forums that allow reviews
- Reviews of the class in your newsletter or ezine
- Personal emails to your customers and list
We want you, our Affiliate, to be successful! Don’t be discouraged if you don’t see tons of results after one communication. Good marketing takes time and multiple messages.
